Historic Restoration

A series of critical restorations to the island is underway. It began with a massive overhaul of the golf course,which now has heat-resistant grass, sub-surface drainage, and a new computer-controlled irrigation system. The Links house and Golf Grill will be redesigned and refurbished and a new Island Sports bar will be added.

Likewise, the tennis center will have new landscaping, furniture and lighting. The Marina has already been improved with new IPE Brazilian hardwood decking.

Plans to upgrade and update the Beach Club, the Trattoria restaurant, the Vanderbilt mansion, and the Hotel and Lobby are also underway.
